Letter Analogy - Skipping of Alphabet
LETTER ANALOGY
Analogy means correspondence. In this topic, two groups of letters related to each other in some way, are given. The candidate is required to find out this relationship and choose either a letter- group which is related in the same way to a third provided in the question or a pair consisting of similarly related letter-groups.
Skipping of Alphabet : In letter analogy questions, two pairs of elements, related to each other in some way are given. The candidate is required to find out this relationship and choose the missing element which bears a similar relationship to the other element of the item as that between the two elements of the other item.
The format of relationship is similar to a : b :: c : ?
There is a certain relationship between a and b and the same relationship exists between c and the missing letter.
